Leggings are one of the most versatile and comfortable items of clothing you can own. They will be your best friend this fall when it comes to keeping your legs warm and cozy, guaranteed. There are many different ways you can style leggings. We’re sharing our 6 favorite ways below!
6 Ways To Wear Leggings This Fall
1. With an oversize sweater
This look is a fall classic and is oh so cute and comfortable. It works for almost any fall occasion too, from strolls in the park to pumpkin spice latte dates. You can dress the look up or down accordingly with your footwear. Wear sneakers or flat boots for a more casual feel, or heeled ankle/over the knee boots to take the look up a notch.
2. With a tunic/long blouse
Another effortlessly cool and casual outfit that works for multiple occasions. You can make the look more interesting with textured or detailed leggings, such as lace-up leggings. Again, your footwear and outerwear will really make the feel of the outfit. Sneakers will keep the look casual while boots will dress it up a lot, and a classic wool coat matches both styles of shoes!
3. With a hoodie and sneakers
Leggings are a favorite when it comes to athletic wear. Keep the sporty chic tradition alive with a hoodie and sneakers. You can also add different styles of jacket for warmth and interest. A bomber jacket is perfect for an urban feel, or a wool coat will add an athleisure style contrast.
4. With a long vest or belted scarf
Leggings can also be a key part of elegant looks! For a ladylike touch pair yours with a long vest or belted scarf over a nice turtleneck. Add a nice pair of heels and some lipstick and you’ll be good to go.
5. With an oversize tee and biker jacket
To create edgy rocker vibes, wear your leggings with an oversize tee (plain or graphic), a biker jacket, and some combat or studded boots. The biker jacket doesn’t necessarily have to be leather either, you could also choose suede. Even an oversize denim jacket gives the same effect.
6. With a plaid/denim shirt
For a grungy, hipster chic look throw a plaid or denim shirt over your tee or sweater. You can also wrap it around your waist if it’s warm enough or you want to layer with another jacket. Top off your look with a slouchy beanie and some chunky boots.
